Director-General Yeh Chao-fu stated that Mayor Lu Shiow-yen values public transportation and has introduced the exclusive ""Double Ten Ride Discount"" for citizens. The TPASS, launched last year, has increased public transport usage, encouraging more people to take advantage of the services. Additionally, in light of the Lunar New Year shopping season and the coastal tourism resources, Taichung City Council Deputy Speaker Yan Li-min has facilitated cross-sector collaboration among the Transportation Bureau, Tourism Bureau, Mitsui Outlet Park Taichung Port, and the Concord team to promote this comprehensive ""travel, food, leisure, and shopping"" campaign. This initiative not only expands tourism but also boosts local business opportunities along the coastal areas, making Taichung the first city to offer discounts to bus passengers. Visitors can shop at Mitsui Outlet Park Taichung Port without the hassle of driving, using buses and MRT to enjoy the ""Taichung GO Prestige Shopping Tour.""

Director-General Yeh pointed out that by purchasing the ""Taichung GO Time-based QR Combo Ticket"" via mobile phone, visitors can enjoy unlimited rides on the designated bus and MRT routes in Taichung. In addition to exploring the city on six major bus routes and eight sightseeing bus routes, the service has also been extended to include all Fengyuan Bus city bus routes and routes 111, 308, 310, 678, and 688 that pass by the Taichung Port Passenger Terminal and Mitsui Outlet Park Taichung Port. During the promo period, the operator has also sponsored 300 ""Taichung Star Ferris Wheel"" tickets, allowing visitors to enjoy breathtaking views of Taichung Port from above.
