Director-General Yeh Chao-fu of the Taichung City Transportation Bureau stated that Wuling Farm, blessed with a unique natural environment, is a popular attraction in Taichung. The annual cherry blossom season will take place from February 8 to February 29, with around 30,000 cherry trees planted throughout the farm and ten major cherry blossom viewing spots. This year, three major hidden cherry blossom spots are being introduced for the first time: the Moon Viewing Pavilion, the Cherry Blossom Secret Spot next to the campsite grassland, and the Wisteria Garden Secret Spot. The Transportation Bureau has specially launched the ""Taichung go Combo Ticket × Wuling Blossom Season Transportation Pass,"" which includes a 48-hour Taichung go bus combo ticket (with reserved seats on the Taichung Bus Route 865), round-trip shuttle service between Lishan and Wuling, Wuling Farm admission, and a discount on Ku Kuan Hot-Spring Hotel accommodations.

""Spend a Night in the Mountains!"" Yeh encouraged the public to take Taichung public transportation to Guguan, stay overnight, and then connect to Route 865 for the next leg of their journey. Additionally, during the cherry blossom festival, visitors who show their Taichung go Combo Ticket when checking in at Ku Kuan Hot-Spring Hotel can enjoy a discount of NT$ 300 on weekdays or holidays, and also receive an afternoon tea voucher and a limited dinner offer. There's no need to rush through the cherry blossom itinerary; instead, enjoy a leisurely two-day, one-night trip to admire the sea of pink flowers and explore the beauty of Wuling.

The Transportation Bureau stated that the newly launched ""Taichung go Combo Ticket × Wuling Blossom Season Transportation Pass"" expands the original 14 applicable bus routes to 100, making it more convenient for the public. Besides six major bus routes (100, 200, 300, 500, 700, and 900) and eight sightseeing bus routes (11, 66 Extension, 151, 153, 309, 865, 866, and 888), the Taichung go Combo Ticket now also includes all Fengyuan Bus city bus routes in Taichung City.

The Transportation Bureau further explained that Fengyuan Bus, originally a Taichung County bus operator, covers mountain, coastal, rural, and urban areas, with many routes passing through tourist attractions. Using the combo ticket, visitors can enjoy a forest bath at Dasyueshan, mushroom picking in Xinshe, cherry blossom viewing at Dongshi Forest Garden, fruit picking in Lishan, biking in Houli, and hot springs in Guguan, offering a chance to unwind and rejuvenate the body and mind.

Yeh mentioned that Route 865 is the bus route from Taichung to Lishan, traveling along the Central Cross-Island Highway. Reservations are required to board. During the Lishan cherry blossom season, tickets for Route 865 are highly sought after. To provide a one-stop service, the ""Taichung go Combo Ticket × Wuling Blossom Season Transportation Pass"" reserves six seats for the 6:45 AM Guguan to Lishan and 3:40 PM Lishan to Guguan Route 865 bus trips, with a ticket price of only NT$ 290. Visitors can take Route 153 and 850 buses to Guguan the day before, stay overnight at a Ku Kuan Hot-Spring Hotel with a one-night-three-meals offer, and then take the 6:45 AM Route 865 bus from Guguan to Lishan. After arriving in Lishan, they can take the 9:30 AM Wuling Farm shuttle bus to the farm for cherry blossom viewing. At 2:30 PM, visitors then take the Wuling Farm shuttle bus back to Lishan, and then take the 3:40 PM Route 865 bus from Lishan to Guguan, and transfer to a bus back home.
